Chocolate is easily one of my favorite ingredients; to use in the kitchen and to satisfy my gnarly sweet tooth! I use it (and devour it) in almost anything from drinks to desserts. The idea for this easy fudge recipe was inspired by boredom with your traditional chocolate fudge recipe.
Heath Bar, My Favorite Cand Bar
When my daughter Caitlin and I were at the grocery store, we saw one of my favorite candy bars and it brought back so many childhood memories! My sister and I would each get a Heath bar, made with yummy toffee, almonds, and milk chocolate from my Gram. We would sit on the abandoned railroad tracks near her house and savor each and every bite!
Not Your Boring Old Fashioned Fudge Recipe!
After I grabbed a few and put them in the cart, we went on with our shopping. When we were in the baking aisle, I was adding a few things from my list when I saw a bag of Heath Bar English Toffee Baking Bits. I could not believe it! This was the perfect ingredient to add some pizazz to my boring old-fashioned fudge recipe (not my words!!)

Here are the ingredients for the best Heath Bar Fudge recipe!
• 2 cups milk chocolate chips
• 1-8-ounce bag of Heath Bar English Toffee Baking Bits
• 2 tablespoons salted butter
• 1 14 ounce can condensed milk
• 8×8 baking pan lined with parchment paper
• Cooking spray
Here are the steps it takes to make this delicious confection.
Step 1: Spray pan with cooking spray and cover bottom and sides of the pan with parchment paper and set aside. In a mixing bowl, add chocolate chips and butter.
Melt chips in the microwave in 30-second bursts until completely melted and smooth. Do not cook for more than 30 seconds at a time or you will burn them.
Step 2: Fold in the condensed milk.
Step 3: Fold in 4 ounces of the Heath Bar English Toffee Baking Bits.
Step 4: Spread the mixture evenly into the pan.
Step 5: Press the rest of the Crushed Heath Candy Bars Topping into the top of the fudge.
Step 6: Cover baking pan with foil and place in refrigerator until fudge is firm.
Place fudge on cutting board and cut into 1-2” pieces and enjoy!
