Kid-Friendly Gel Hand Sanitizer
Because my alcohol-free hand sanitizer gel is super kid-friendly and super easy to make, you’ll not want to buy store brands again! Not to mention, it’s composed of safe and effective ingredients such as witch hazel instead of isopropyl alcohol.
In addition, when it comes to teaching kids about personal hygiene and how to use hand sanitizer gel, you have to make it fun! Putting together this sanitizer acts like a science experiment. If it keeps them busy, it keeps them happy!
A Gel Consistency Kids Want To Get Their Hands On!
This easy hand sanitizer gel is great for the young ones because the consistency is so interesting to them. In their minds, it resembles slime, so they’re more inclined to slap it on and stay clean. For me, it’s a relief that they’re taking precautionary measures to stay safe… without even realizing it!

Supplies:
- 1/3 cup Aloe Vera gel
- 1 cup witch hazel
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1/2 tablespoon of distilled water
- *5-10 drops of cedarwood essential oil
- *5-10 drops of chamomile essential oil
- 3-4 ounce plastic squeeze top travel bottles
- Measuring cup
- Funnel
- Whisk
Instructions:
Step 1:
Add your aloe gel and witch hazel to a measuring cup and whisk together.
Step 2:
Add in your avocado carrier oil and distilled water.
Steps 3-4:
*Add in your essential oils. We have chosen essential oils that are shown to be safe for children. Whisk all ingredients together until well incorporated.
Step 5:
Using a funnel, add the mixture into your bottle, stopping about ½” from the top. Add the top and screw on tightly.
