The final solution is a beautiful pool that has completely transformed my backyard. While I initially debated adding a transition to a deeper end, I am so glad I focused on the wide steps; it keeps the whole area open for activity and comfortable for everyone to stand.
Even the small details, like using a heat pump to ensure the water is consistently comfortable in our short swimming season, make a huge difference.
