A few weeks ago I was sitting on my porch with a cup of tea and I looked at all the little empty pots lined up by the wall and thought they looked kind of sad so I decided to bring them to life by creating my own Mini Cactus Garden and honestly I didn’t have a plan I just started mixing tiny plants of all shapes and colors and somehow it turned into the cutest little corner ever and it made me smile because sometimes beauty comes from just trying something new.
When I started planting I poked my finger with a cactus spine and I almost gave up but then I laughed and said to myself well that’s part of the fun so I kept going and added pebbles shells and even tiny fairy lights and suddenly my Mini Cactus Garden looked like a desert dream and even though a few of the plants leaned sideways it didn’t matter because it was full of personality and love and that’s what makes it special to me.
One afternoon I decided to bring a few of those little cacti into my Moody Bathroom and I placed them near the window where the soft light hits in the morning and oh wow it changed the whole vibe of the room because the dark walls made the green pop and it felt like a mini oasis right inside my home and I couldn’t believe how something as small as a Mini Cactus Garden could make my bathroom feel so alive and calm at the same time and now every time I take a bath I just stare at those plants and feel completely relaxed.
Now when I walk past my Mini Cactus Garden I feel proud because it’s small and imperfect and full of life and even if some of the pots are chipped or the plants grow unevenly they still look beautiful together and it reminds me that growth doesn’t have to be perfect it just has to keep going and that’s why my Mini Cactus Garden will always be one of my favorite little creations.
